Event Details:
2013 Theme - Unity in the Community
2:30 p.m.
Gather in West Bloomfield High School Atrium for Walk.
West Bloomfield High School Jazz Band entertains.
3:00 p.m.
Walk - Please bring your banner and wear layered, warm clothing for walk.
Walk in Peace - In Foreign Languages
WBHS Winter Drumline, Chad Mielens and Karl Stein, Directors
Hot Chocolate will be provided by West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation.
Important Note for Drivers During Walk
Orchard Lake Road will be temporarily closed by the West Bloomfield Police Department to conduct
the Walk from about 3:00 p.m. to about 3:45 p.m. If you plan to walk or deliver food donations
during this period, please arrive at West Bloomfield High School by 2:30 or 2:45 p.m. Orchard Lake
Road will reopen after the Walk. An alternative, driving route, if you can only arrive between 3:00 and
3:45 p.m., that will provide direct access to West Bloomfield High School, at all times, is to use
Green Road from Walnut Lake Road. Green Road will allow drivers to come directly into the West
Bloomfield High School parking lot at the traffic light. Thank you.
