Sunday, January 20, 2008 Candlelight Vigil

6:00 pm Meet "Freedom Summer" participant Rev. Jonathan Sams & Nigerian artist Timothy Orikri, hear their stories and see the work of Mr. Orikri.
7:00 pm Join in the candlelight vigil with music and inspiration presented by students and the West Bloomfield Clergy Association. Be present for the unveiling of the 2008 Wall of Fame designee. Refreshments to follow.



All events are free, open to the public and take place at West Bloomfield High School, 4925 Orchard Lake Rd. (at Green Rd.) T-shirts will be available for purchase.

8:30 am Continental breakfast
9:00 am Community program featuring student presentation "What Goes Around" as well as speakers and musical entertainment.

The program can also be viewed via closed circuit TVs in both the Cafeteria or Media Center

10:15 am 1.5-Mile Walk on Orchard Lake Rd. between Green and Walnut Lake Rds.
11:15 am Lunch (sponsored by local businesses)
11:30 am Student-facilitated adult/student dialogue
1:30 pm Events conclude
